People who are in a life-threatening health situation due to lack of health insurance, or because necessary treatment is not covered or is denied.

People who recently lost a loved one because that individual did not have health insurance, or because necessary treatment was not covered or was denied.

People of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to respond.

ARE YOU A VICTIM OF THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM?

Maybe you’re someone who is terminally ill. Maybe you’re someone who is dying due to complications that could have been treated, but weren’t. Maybe you’re in a life-threatening situation because you could no longer afford health insurance or because your coverage was denied or cut off. Maybe you’re someone who lost a loved one because that person couldn’t get the treatment he or she needed.

If one of these situations sounds like your life... we want to share your story

We’re looking for all kinds of people from all walks of life who are currently in a life-threatening situation because they’ve been treated unfairly by the insurance / healthcare system. We are also looking for the loved ones who have been left behind by these tragedies.

For us, this is the most painful aspect of the never-ending political debate about healthcare. We know there are people out there who are dying right now because the system is broken. We know there are tragedies that could have been avoided if politics hadn’t taken precedence over change.

It may be too late to help you. But it’s not too late to send out a message to the powers that be. It’s not too late to fix things so no one else ever has to endure the heartbreak you’ve endured.
